Effective Learning

effective learning summary(1)

Here at Belton All Saints we seek to create a thirst for learning in our pupils. Being an effective learner with a positive mindset starts right from within our Foundation Stage and supports pupils' progress and attainment throughout their school life and into adulthood.

We help pupils become good learners developing skills within the following six targets supported by Belton's Busy Bee.

I can organise myself and my work.

I am eager to take part and learn.

I think of good ideas and solve problems.

I look to make my work even better.

I work well on my own.

I work well in a team.

Each half term we focus, as a school, on a different learning area, identifying how pupils can develop their learning skills as they move through school and celebrating their successes.
